We're Back...

Back in Ketchikan and making ready for our friends to visit. We will take them from Ketchikan to Glacier Bay (via Wrangell, Petersburg and Juneau). We are just a water taxi for them, as they will be staying at hotels in each location. It is a pretty agressive schedule and hopefully we can make the, approximately, 350 NM by Friday the 26th. That is the date of our reservation at Bartlett Cove for the mandatory Glacier Bay orientation for independent boaters (and backcountry campers). These sessions last three hours and cover park rules, wildlife regulations, weather safety and low-impact practices (leave no trace). So, wish us good luck and enjoy some random pics from Ketchikan.

Keep your fingers crossed…a lot of miles to go in a short period of time

The parade of cruise ships is endless. Views from our marina Bar Harbor North.

How you work on your boat in Alaska…wait for the low tide…

…when it comes in, it’s time to quit.

Bill (Benson’s Dad) and Larry chat about the listing issue on the JOMA. She took on too much water to clean out her fish hold and started to heal over pretty badly.
